The Story Begins With Movement

This two-channel video presents a dialog between two stories, one told through electronic music and one through Jit, an urban dance form specific to Detroit. Both stories reflects on the struggle to survive in a city that has undergone numerous set backs. The audio plays a story spoken to a techno beat with syncopated text displayed on the left screen, while the right presents Jit dancer Stringz's response in dance.
